P.S - pull that finger of yours out on that old hotshot you were telling me about and have a run at the vintage festival Trev! Would be good to see you giving the old Hotshot a go - just like old times.

So, um, hoping my batteries get here before the Pro-Am. Haven't done much Offroad recently and am looking forward to having a run at a traditional offroad track.

Maybe I'm getting old or something but I am appreciating more and more Castle Hill's focus on a technical track with strategic rather than "headline" jumps.

Yes, that rule was there last year. The first time I read it I thought, well that's... odd. Then I thought about it and decided that it was just meant to mean that if you don't have any club racing experience then the Series isn't the place to have your first meet. I figured it was just to stop the guy with the jet hopper doing a google search for RC racing, finding the Club Series and entering. Anyone who has done a club race or two would have "sufficient skills."

Now, who wants to tell me when Castle Hill's club meetings are next month, and which tyres are working?

This little statement has killed off my chances of running in the series. Oh well at least they let new drivers race in the on road series.
Stuff it mate. Just enter, you prob will kick ass anyway

The more entries for your own club, the better the chance of getting points

True that.
But don't we regrade after the 2nd Qualifier? So you race guys who are at your speed. Or is that just States?

Crack team?
At the JC Clash last week, scrutineering the Stock classes was a lot easier than most people thought. There's only 2 things people will have to get used too.
1. Leaving the Transmitter in scrutineering.
2. Positioning the ESC in 4WDs so the lights can be seen.

Other than that, it was a piece of (p!$$) cake.
