what are the tyres of choice up there?
is there fuel available at the track or close to it (hobby shop etc) and what brands are stocked

hey guys any thing in m3 or ultra flex works well with good tyre wear
m2 may be a good choice if the new surface on the strait groovs up

nitro x and vp are sold in nambour which is only 10 or 15 min from track

To start with you will need something like a crimefighter/caliber in m3 and if the track blue grooves you could look at something like revolver/caliber still in an m3.
As Bill said you can get VP tires at Nambour and Proline tires at Toyworld (Kawana about 25 min from the track). Don't think anyone is selling AKA's (might be wrong) right now on the coast.

Briefing 8.15am
First Race 8.30am

First Race 9.00
All Bump Up Finals 20mins (gas)
A Mains 30 mins (gas)
At this stage we will be running 12 car heats/finals (move to 15 car heats/finals at around 90 to 100 noms).
Therefore the 8 fastest qualifiers will go straight to the A-Main for 12 car heats with 4 bumping up and 10 to the A-Main with 5 bumping up for 15 car heats
