Is the only allowable motor for 21.5 the R1 or can people who dont have one but wish to run that class use the motors they already have instead of having to go buy one?

You can run whatever 21.5 motor you wish
As.long as you are happy to have it set to 2400kv like all the rest.

Hi Adrian,

Will this event run with the updated RCRA rules (ie. 1320grams weight limit for ISTC, battery voltage, fan ducting, etc)?

And what is the format for the event? (ie. no of heats/finals, class duration, IFMAR starts for quals and finals format?)

Thanks,

Leonard.

Hey Leonard,

The event will be run with the new RCRA rules in use ( Battery Voltage, Ducting and weight)
It will be 3 heats and 3 Finals IFMAR staggered starts and grid finals except for trucks which they like grid starts and finals.
Standard race times for heats and finals as per RCRA rules.

I hope you can come down and have a race.

Thanks
Adrian
