Default 2018/19 ACTMCRC 4 Round TT-02 Enduro Series

Howdy everyone!

I would like to announce our 4 round, 2 hour Tamiya TT endurance series.

Races are seasonal with a different layout for each.
- 1st round indoor in September 2018
- 2nd round outdoor in November 2018
- 3rd round outdoor in February 2019
- 4th round indoor in May 2019


The first round will be held on the 7th of September, which is 1 month away, so now's the time to get your teams together and post them below!!

Cost is $40 per team per round, includes 1 set of control tyres. Rules as per existing TT set full rules to be posted closer to the event.
Stock gearing, no mods except bearings. Any infraction will lose the rounds points for the team.

All rounds will count, min 2 people per team.

Prizes. 1 st Place - A Tamiya TT kit, 2nd Place - A Tamiya TT Body Shell, 3rd Place A Tamiya Torque tuned motor and pinion gear.
Prizes to be supplied with thanks to Monaro Models and Essential RC.

ACTMCRC TT02 4 Round Endurance championship rules

Round 1 Event Schedule
6:30pm Track setup
7:00pm Track open for practice (15min)
7:15pm Drivers Briefing
7:20pm Race start (2 hours duration with no pause)

Chassis Rules:
Cars to conform with AARCMCC 540 rules with the exceptions listed below
1. Only stock TT-02 chassis allowed. No drift TT-02D or other variants to be used.
2. Motor will be the kit motor. (Tamiya RS-540 Torque-Tuned Motor) - no modifications allowed.
3. Battery - No limit on battery size
4. ESC - as per kit. Tamiya TBLE-02. Motor plugs to be kept standard. Any battery connector allowed. Alternate low cost ESCs may be used if the kit ESC is not available.
5. Gearing - as per the kit. 70t spur 22t pinion. Most kits come with this as standard with a few exceptions. Any replacements to be the same pitch and size as per the kit.
6. Body - to be TT-02 kit bodies. IE: bodies that resemble actual cars.
7. Diffs - must spin freely and be as per the kit. No locked, One way or ball diffs.
8. Tires to be handouts from race control included in entry.
9. The only modification allowed is the addition of bearings. No modifications allowed to the chassis. Broken parts should be replaced with standard kit parts, no hopup parts.

Round rules, in conjunction with standard ACTMCRC rule set
Teams of 2 or more drivers
Race numbers to be affixed to left hand door – supplied at race control
Marshalling points per team will be set, if marshalling point is not manned (minus driver swap) then lap penalty will apply until manned
Racing: No qualifying. The first race grid will be based on registration (first in first on the grid, etc). Subsequent races will be reverse grid based on the results of the previous race.
Pit Stops – Teams will need to perform a minimum of 3 pitstops. Battery removal during each stop. Team member to come get dot from Race Control before re-entering track.
Battery changes to be done from pit lane
1 motor per team, additional motor 20 lap penalty
Chassis change 50 lap penalty and must be approved by race control

Point scoring
First place will be awarded 100 points.
Second place will be awarded 96 points.
Third place will be awarded 93 points.
Fourth place will be awarded 91 points.
Fifth place will be awarded 90 points.
Sixth place will be awarded 89 points.
Seventh place will be awarded 88 points.
Eighth place will be awarded 87 points. …and so forth until all competitors in the class have been awarded points.
