Newcastle Onroad Radio Controlled Car Club in conjunction with HEI International are proud announce Round 5 of the XRAY Race Series to be held at Newcastle Onroad Radio Control Car Club, Nelson Bay Road, Williamtown on the Sunday 9th September 2018.

Note: No practice on Saturday but we will open the track for 1/2 hour on Sunday before drivers meeting.

Sunday Gates will open at 6:30am. Drivers meeting at 7:45am. Racing will begin at 8:00am sharp. If time is available we will try to open the track for 20-30 mins for open practice before drivers meeting.

3 qualifiers will be completed followed by Triple Mains for all classes. If time is short then an option to reduce lower mains.

EP Touring Junior
EP Touring 21.5
EP Touring 13.5
EP Touring Modified
12th Scale 13.5 Stock blinky (Capped at 10)
Formula 1 (Capped at 10)
Tamiya Truck (standard kit plus bearing upgrade & alloy prop shaft ONLY. 1500grams minimum weight)

Entry fees are:
First Class $20
Additional Classes $15
Junior $15 (under 16 years of age)

Control Motors
HOBBYWING XRS MOTOR JUSTOCK G2 - 13.5 (XY309950)
HOBBYWING XRS MOTOR JUSTOCK G2 - 21.5 (XY309960)
Cost - $75.00 Outright purchase
$15.00 Hire for the race day

Driver are able to purchase Motors on the day or from RC Hobby Shop Sydney - Australian Hobby Store or RC Hobby Shop Sydney - Australian Hobby Store
Drivers are also able to hire motors for the days event and returned once finished. Hire motors that are damaged during use are to be charged out at the purchase price.

Control Tyres:
Rush 36X pre -glued (4 tyres with wheels and inserts) $40 per set
Part Number - MR-RS-PGA36X
These will be handed out on Race day
Junior/Novice will be provided a set of used tyres at no charge and must be returned at the end of racing.

All TC classes are as per AARCMCC Rules

Do we need to run the control stock motor in 1/12th Stock?

Can we use control motors from previous XRS series (I have one from 2016/7)?

No Control motors for 1:12th, yes you can use the Control Motors from last year.

Yes Mark it has. It had me confused as it had Mark as name and Wallin entered in the home club which I thought was a typo.
