Hi All,

Thank you for the questions and especially to those who turned up last week to have a practice round. It was great to see full classes of 13.5 and 21.5! The sugar is proving to be well accepted with the track being on record pace

Timely in line with XRAY's release of GTXe, we have had a lot of questions from visitors and locals showing great interest around GTe as well as Mini being the demo classes, we are happy to hold whatever 2 demo classes fill up first. Please post your interest in either or both of these demo classes and I will change the entry forms to suit should there be enough interest.

Kind Regards,
John Puse

2 weeks out Ladies and Gentleman....keep those entries coming in!

Just in case you missed the link, here it is:
http://bit.ly/xray_R4

We have only had 3 interested parties to run Mini and/or 8th Scale GTe, the option will be closed in the next week should there be no further interested parties. For those interested, Mini will be full track, controlled Sweep tires as usual with 6 min races. GTe will be open rubber tires and full track with 6 min races.FirstnameSurnameClassTransponderJohnPuseEP Touring Car Modified8784500CalvinHolmesEP Touring Car 21.55249306RobNicol12th Scale Modified2537649TonySmithEP Touring Car Stock 13.56744110JeffreyMackieEP Touring Car Modified5503969AndrewCurlessEP Touring Car 21.53287665AriBaklaEP Touring Car Modified9927907LionelSaundersEP Touring Car Modified3792339BrianMalaquinEP Touring Car Modified2791965IanWebberFormula 13257495JakeMckeeEP Touring Car 21.54142989SimonStewartEP Touring Car Stock 13.56198258MarkWallinEP Touring Car Modified,12th Scale Modified7341923MarkWallinEP Touring Car Modified,12th Scale Modified9774666DavidTjhenEP Touring Car Stock 13.5TBA

Is it safe to assume that Mini and F1 wonít be running at the weekend?

its safe to say possibly, although we could get a couple more entries or put together the classes for anybody just entering those classes. We will decide most likely on the Saturday about the situation

Thanks for the reply Jeffrey. I donít mean to be a moaner but it seems a little unfair to prepare and practice with two cars, only to be told that there is no race for either, at the last minute.

Please remove my entry from F1 as there seems to be no interest in the class at this round.
Thanks
Ian

Hi All,

The entry list looks like some great entries for all TC classes.

We have a few late entries for Mini, Jeff will update soon.

Mark/Ian/Dan/Jeff: unfortunately we will be dropping F1 and 12th scale due to not enough entries so the only demo class run will be Mini.

Kind Regards,
JP

A huge thankyou to the Whalan club on getting the XRS round completed, even with all of the issues you experienced yesterday.
It was great to see all drivers wait patiently for the rectifications to occur and proceed with the racing. A great job in scrutineering by John, Eileen and Erin and also a special thank you to Matt for sorting out the power problem.
Thanks to all and hope to see you all at the Newcastle round of XRS.
Congratulations to all of the winners and participants. I am sure most had a great day of qualifying and racing.
Happy Racing to all.
50cal.
