Default Novice tyres

with the lack of interest in novice, is there still a need to have control tyres?

Hopefully this class still goes ahead, even with two entries it's great to see juniors entered.

10A has been used as the maximum at many recent events including the recent XRS round at Whalan, makes sense to keep it consistent. I don't see any need to charge that high anyway.

I have one pack for each car, and charge at 7A on regular club days, and they're always done before time.

10A is the maximum limit, it primarily on the basis of safety. We had a lipo go up in the pits at last year's GP, and it wasn't pretty.

At this point in time all classes will be going ahead. Support those who support the event I say.

For novice we will wipe the control tyre, $40 is a bit much to swallow. We may be able to scrape up some free handout tyres.

Hot food and drinks will be available from the club on both Saturday and Sunday.

On the Sunday we will also have a Coffee van onsite which you can purchase hot beverages.

57 entries which is awesome and the weekends weather forecast is looking sweet!

just let them run what they are currently running - they don't need handout tyres - they are novice - let them have fun

A couple of us were discussing this yesterday, and thought the same idea as XRS could work. Used sets of Much More Rush 36 tyres. I have a couple of good used sets I'm happy to donate for juniors to use, they can keep them after the event if they like too.
