With the poor interest in F1,I'm going to remove my entry from the class,no fun with only minimal interest
With scrutineering the Tamiya Truck class, whome who will be checking them, can they make sure all diffs spin freely,I'm aware some people have been "cheating", by packing the diffs with grease, the instructions do not tell you to pack the diffs.
Cheers.

We will do our best to scrutineer all classes. A few more weeks till entries close, could still get another four for F1 to run Ian.

With reference to packing of the diffs with grease, I believe the way the rules read is that any lubricant may be used on moving parts, and no mention is made of the amounts used.

Yes,but like a mini diff the instructions tell you to fill to cover centre gears, the Tamiya instructions do not, what they show is to lube the gears, not fill the diff, and there are no written instructions telling you to pack the diff with grease.
Anyone who's built a Tamiya kit knows what that grease tube symbol means

I do take your point, but I don't think we need to over police what's intended as a fun class. IMO provided the diff rotates freely and is not clearly locked then leave it at that. For example, if someone was to use the Tamiya anti wear grease, it would feel tighter than regular grease, without needing to be filled with it.

Unfortunately one of those logistical things I mentioned isn't going to happen so I can't make it - fingers crossed for NSW Titles though

If we don’t get the numbers for F1, could I please swap my entry to mini?
Is it normal for onroad fashions to keep changing? I’ve got a good 10 onroad cars that I can only race every third year ☺

We are considering on lowering the minimum entries per class to 4 as we don't like turning people away.

For novice every entered driver will receive a prize.

Any Mod drivers out there want to join Simon and John? Would be great to see the fast guys run!

Keep those entries coming in.

Could you please remove all my entries for the event this weekend.
I know racing trucks would be fun,but flying rc jets is sooooooooooo much better.
Good luck to all who attend.
