2018 SERPENT Australia Tour: 6th April - 9th April
Walter RC is proud to announce the 2018 Serpent Tour of Australia.
Event Schedule:
• Friday 6th Apr
- Practice from 11.30am to 5.00pm
• Saturday 7th Apr
- Practice 7:45am to 9:45am (EP & GP).
- Drivers meeting at 9:50am.
- Racing starts at 10:00am (4 QLF rounds)
• Sunday 8th Apr
- Racing starts from 8:30am (2 QLF rounds)
- All Finals.
Award and Prizes:
• Trophies will be awarded to all A finalist.
• TQ will also be awarded a separate trophy.
General race format for EP:
• A minimum of 8 entries per class is required, for said class to run.
• Finals - A main will have 3 finals, B main will have 2 finals and 1 final for lower finals.
• Touring cars
* Bodies - Sedan with EFRA approved .
* Batteries - Maximum of 2S.
* Tyres - RIDE Re36 Blue (26010) @ $25.00/ set
* QLFs - Qualifying will be rocket rounds system with maximum of 10 cars per heat.

TC Mod will be 5 minutes.
- 13.5T
and 21.5T will be 6 minutes.
• 1:12th & F1
* Bodies - Pan car/ Leman / F1 style .
* Batteries - Maximum of 2S for F1 and 1S for 1:12th.
* Tyres - Open
* QLFs - Qualifying will be rocket rounds system with maximum of 10 cars per heat.
- F1 will be 6 minutes and 1:12th will be 8 mins.
General rules for GP:
• A minimum of 8 entries per class is required, for said class to run.
• Qualifying will be rocket rounds system with 7 mins QLF for all GP classes.
• Any sedan bodies with EFRA approval for Tourer.
• All finals will be the ABC system. A-30 minutes, B-20 minutes, C-10 minutes and all lower final will be 5 minutes.
• The top three from the lower finals will bump up to the next final.
• Open rubber on GT class.
ENTRY FEES:
1 class = $40, 2 classes = $75 and 3 classes = $100

A great chance to prepare for 2 coming events.
GP drivers : let's make this as our State Championship warm up in a few weeks time.
EP drivers : this weekend will be a final weekend for testing your car before heading up to QLD State Championship.
