Hopefully this is the boost TC needs in NSW.
Won't be able to do all events, but I'm in for as many as I can.

Great job Ari, can't wait, should be fun.

The AARCMCC Junior proposals has these to be used
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...-approved.html

However the series might chose something different.

Final details have been posted in the first post, just missing one date for the Moorebank round. Please see attached Document for event info and guidelines.

We can not decide what motor to run for Juniors... 21.5 or 13.5?? At this stage it will be open motors for Juniors to make things a little easier. What wind motors do you guys think we should use??

I think everyone should run the same motor and it should be 21.5

a. they are juniors (no disrespect)
b. 13.5 are very fast - you will end up with a lot more damage because not all juniors that are going to be racing are going to be really really experienced

If they are all running 21.5 it will be an even playing field.

on a side note I think that they should be a one make and geared to the same FDR - that is just my thoughts (I know that rule didnt go through with AARCMCC and I think it was a dumb decision .

p.s. lets all go out and buy $200 motors even though some of us cant afford it but is the only way we can stay competitive

What decision are you referring to? It was proposed to go to fixed (well upper limit) FDR for OnRoad with the control motor proposal and the clubs voted against it.

If I understand the question correctly, I think it would make sense to adopt the AARCMCC Junior Sportsman rules which specify a motor and FDR cap. However, since it's not an AARCMCC event, there could be some adjustments. If that's not desired, then a 21.5 wind motor seems a logical choice and maybe just the same one as the other 21.5 guys?

Phil.
