Here it is the points Score after Round 4 of the XRS series!

With 1 round left at Newcastle, 3 of the 4 classes have the top spot SEALED! Jeffery Mackie in Modified, Brad Vercoe in 13.5 and Hayden Smith in 21.5.

A very close battle between the two top Juniors, its going to come down to who comes out on top at Newcastle!

Note: These are NOT "official" rankings, these are just the results I have gathered from the results of all the events that have been provided online. As well as using the points score given for rounds 1 and 2.

Edit: Rankings For Modified are now correct

Well done Hayden. Looks like the battle for the Junior title as well as the other podium positions will be on at Newcastle. Will be interesting.

Yes it will be interesting. Nothing between Brandon and Aden. Admired the ability and the great sportsmanship of these two young guns at the Whalan round. Good luck to you both.

Looks like it will be very interesting in junior . All year there has been nothing between Brandon and Aden . Its always been super close and super clean between them and looks like it will come down to the wire with them ... Good luck boys..

Control tyres are not balanced. Packaged the same as what you would buy off the shelf.

Had a few questions "Why aren't we running F1?".

The club decided to go with Newcastle's strongest support class being VTA. (9 entries within 2 days of opening) I would have liked to have thrown F1 into the mix but with the possibility of running 8 heats per round (2 Stock and 2 Sportsman) we would not be able to fit it in. We have gone with running 2 support classes the same as other XRS events. As per XRS rules we need to aim for a finish time of no later than 5pm to allow visiting drivers to make the long haul home which for some would be a 5 hour drive.

Hope you understand.
