Default Spektrum transmitter - dead or alive....

O.K.. so after spending a small fortune setting up our cars, we were having a practice session for this weekend, and all of a sudden my sons DX3 lost reverse/brake capability, and then limited forward range

I have checked, and the pot. is dead - apparently a common fault.

Now I am on the hunt for another, but am hoping I can salvage one from a dead TX if anyone has one lying around! It looks like most of the potentiometers in Spektrum TX's are the same, so I'll take what I can get.

He can't afford to replace the TX at this stage.

All good - found a cheap orphan transmitter with the same pot - installed it in the DX3 - all ready to go again !
