Trinity Losi Hubs
G'day Andrew
I don't often surf rctech anymore, but just saw your post re the rear hubs for a XXX4.
As I recall, the XXX4 uses the same hubs as the 2WD XXX...? I did a MASSIVE amount of research in about Sept / Oct re this year, as I wanted to find, buy and put some Trinity 0 degree hubs onto my (since retired!) X Factory X-5 (which also meant I needed to convert the pivot block to a cut-down version of the XXX pivot block.....).
Here's a summary of what Trinity offered up based on my research:
TK5071 is suited to VLA arms, has 1 degree toe and 2x vertical ball stud holes
TRI34034 - as above, except 0 degrees, 3x vertical ball stud holes - EXTREMELY hard to find.....
TK5102 NOT suited to VLA arms, has 0 degree toe and 2x vertical ball stud hole
TK5103 NOT suited to VLA arms, has 2 degree toe and 2x vertical ball stud hole
TK5072 - ugly - stay away from. Needed special CVD's due to the hub itself being extremely wide. Otherwise, same as TK5102
So - the only 1 degree hubs they offered up were the TK5071's - what you should be looking for (if you're still looking!!!)
Do you a deal though - you find me a brand new set of TRI34034's and I'll find you some brand new TK5071's....
Cheers
Daniel
