You will not get electrocuted with DC current. the current is direct(going one way).

Only AC will shock you.

A B6 power supply only supplies 5amps.My power supply supplies 13amps

I have seen a lot of threads on the net turn into nasty arguments over the safety issues with building these PSU's so do not attempt this if you are not 100% sure of what you're doing.

If i were running a club i wouldnt allow those modded PSUs.

As for the PSU being only 1 month old? That looks like 1 helluva old spec PSU.
Is that a 235W rating and no SATA power connectors?
I dont think ive seen specs that low in about 4+ years, you may want to hassle the person who sold it to you.

Oh incidentally, i was always of the impression that the capacitors inside a PSU can hold some pretty dangerous charges. Perhaps someone who understands electronics can comment on that?

Every SEQ club banned these 2 years ago; even the cheaper "all metal" jaycar psu's which were able to connect directly to your charger. Dont ever mess with power lol it's nasty, check out this vid which most would have seen.
