Up for sale is a LIKE NEW OS VZR .21 version 2 Engine which has been PROFESSIONALLY MODIFIED.
This is a top of the line O.S engine designed specifically for 1/8 Scale On-Road Competition.
This is a regretful sale as I am leaving the nitro part of the hobby!

Im after $350 + postage, or pickup can be arranged around the sydney area.

The engine features include:

- An improved internal crankcase core and re-shaped liner port for better mixture flow.
- A button-shaped inner head design to boost high-end rpm.
- A piston machined from bar stock for more strength.
- More crankcase webbing helps the engine cool better and adds structural strength.
- Rear exhaust port is cast as part of the cylinder to improve exhaust flow.
- 2-piece turbocylinder head is designed specifically to work with the new high-performance T-P7 Turbo Plug.
- Oversized blue anodized cylinder head for more cooling.
- True ABC construction (Aluminum Piston with a Chromed Brass Cylinder) reduces break-in time. The lightened piston improves cooling and acceleration. Con rod has lighter, more durable bushing material.
- Universal fuel inlet nipple can be repositioned for better access.
- Needle valve assembly is encased in a protective sleeve.
- Dual crankshaft bearings.
- Full linear action of a 20K slide valve carb, for more consistent throttle response throughout the RPM range.
- Carburetor stop valve prevents the rotor from sliding too far.
- Crankcase backplate has an O-ring for a better seal.

The engine itself is only 4 months old and is in TOP WORKING ORDER. It has had over $750 spent on it to get it running its best with a retail of $500! Why pay retail when you have the opportunity to buy the same engine MODIFIED for less! Dont pass this by!

The Modification preformed on the engine was a "Stage 5" Modification preformed professionally by Massive Mods (http://www.massivemods.com.au/) costing $120.
This modification included: Turbo Cutting the crank shaft, porting the piston sleeve, and also mapping put the engines timing and altering it to achieve maximum performance and efficiency.

It was also broken in professionally by my local hobby shop on a bench so you know it was done properly.

Since it was taken out of the box, the engine has been looked after in very respectable order. It has only had around 2.5 liters of 20% nitro fuel run though it after run-in and has never been abused - always run with rich settings. After-run oil has also been used after each run to insure long engine life and high preformance.

The engine was run in a serpent 960 (top of the line 1/8 on road), and was always kept under 100 degrees centigrade using a temp gun to prevent premature wear of the piston and sleeve. The only noticable piece of wear the engine has to it a small grungy area on the case due to exhaust spring vibration, although this has no effect on the engines preformance at all.

When run in the serpent 960 this engine was capable of reaching speeds of 100 km/h in under 4 seconds! This thing is quick!
