Default recievers, repair of

hitech
I have two recievers a rcd3500, and hfd08rd,the 3500 with the atennea down on my e-7 with spectra, it works within about one foot. the hfd works within about 3 ft. using the hfd iwas flying my alpha 40 trainer and it failed needless to say I no longer have a alpha trainer. can these recievers be repaired, or should I even consider the option.
If they can be repaired any idea of cost, and how do I go about it.

If you have 2 Rx's doing the exact same thing, I would check the Tx....

Contact: [email protected] and see about sending the complete system in for a check(Tx & Rx's)

Default recievers bad?Ihope

What happened was I ( to see if I could design and build my own plane ) did it and was trying to fly it with the rcd 3500 and it would recieve at about 1 foot. I used another hfd reciever and it worked great past 40 t0 50 feet. but I ripped the wing off the home built. It came down rather fast. then like a dummy I decided to fly the alpha trainer with hfd reciever it worked great in test, I was flying it just fine did acouple barrel rolls the it started straight down and would not respond to the controls. The crystal is no good now, but with a new vrystal in both recievers, they don't work right. I will buy a new reciever and check it to make sure. But I think, or should I say hope my tx is ok.

Default recievers working fine now

tres:
yesterday I bought a new futaba crystal channel 37, they didn't have any hitec ones other than 75 mhz.,I tryed the two recievers with same battery and tx without charging either one. and both escievers worked well out to about 50-60 feet. I bought a new hot knife to try. should I just buy a new reciever also or should I try one of these. I know if they are working, it makes no sense to send them in. Maybe the crystal just failed in flight, does this happen often?
thank you for your assistance.

X'tal failure is and can be a pain.
Can be hard to troubleshoot.

X'tal's are VERY fragile and we abuse them in RC use.

Be sure and check everything 100%, I would hate to see ya lose a new plane.
