which servo would be good for my Tamiya F103 Leman car?
and would the servo plug fit on my Futaba receiver? |
The F103 is the F1 car right? I would use a 5625 for it. Its plenty fast and is very strong. If you need more speed, like really twitchy response, I would use either a 925 or 5925 servo. I found that on most pan car style chassis that the 5625 is more than enough, at least for me, LOL. TTYL.

Hitec HS-925MG Problems
I have a Hitec servo HS-925MG that a got in July & now it won't hold the
center postion. It was ok at the start but now it pulls to either the left or right. I tried it reseting my radio gear & adjusting the servo trim & centers but nothing works. Yet my other servo a Futaba 9402 servo works great, so I don't think it's my radio (A Super 3PJ with a Futaba FP-R113iP or a Novak XXL recv.) I tried it in both my RS4 Nitro car & my TC3 with the same problem in both. I even had my friend try it in is 1/8 scale gas car with no luck. I open it up to check the gear (as my lhs suggested) but their fine. Is there anything you can recommend to try & fix it or should I just send it in for warranty. Thanks Mach3 |
I would send it in for us to look at. When you send it in please include a description of what is happening with the servo. TTYL.

Hitec HS-925MG Problems reply
That's what I though you would say. It wierd I'll get the servo all setup &
center. Then I run it straight down the road for a little to test it, then I turn it around to run it back to me & it pulles normal to whatever side I just turned. It's strange because then I'll back go inside & put my Futaba 9402 in & it's perfect. At first I though it was my servo saver in my nitro rs4 but I then put it in my TC3 & it did the same pull to the side mess. It was scary when it first happened in my nitro because I was praciting for a racing running at speed then it just turned, lucky I had good brakes & lot's of runout room. Anyway the servo will be in the mail monday, what's the average turn-around time right now? Also should I sent it regular mail, ups or something else ?? Thanks Mach3 |
At this point in time I have no idea how things are moving around the country. Its really your choice as to how you want to send it in. Most items have a turn around time of about a week in the US, of course that depends on how it gets shipped. TTYL.
