???for the hitech gods...

first off, i love your servos. i have been using them for years with no problems at all. the question is....... i have a revo and am running a hs5945mg for steering and a hs5625 for throttle. the servos are rated from 4.8 to 6 volts right? when the battery gets to 5.6 volts the servos stop working. my friend is using only one digital servo and his stops at 5.8. if you put another fully charged rx battery in everything works fine. just wondering if this is normal because this is the first time i have used digital servos. thanks for the help.

What type of receiver batteries are you using? Does the receiver have a BEC circuit built into its battery slot?

we are both using the jr xs3 pro. i am running a 5 cell venom ni-mh batter and 2300 ni-mh in the radio. by buddy is running the same but with a hump back style in the car. i diagnosed his problem last night, its a bad servo (jr) for the throttle. but my car stops at 5.6 volts. just wondering if this is normal??????

any help would be great.
thanks.

What receiver comes with that radio system? If it has a BEC circuit then it is probably limiting the voltage/ amperage that the servos can draw causing them to stop working when the voltage drops slightly. BTW, 5.6 volts is almost dead for a 5 cell (6 volt) battery.
