servo ?

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows if a servo would work with a 6 cell receiver pack, instead of a 5 cell pack.

I noticed that they make a 6 cell pack for the Losi mini-T, and I was thinking of using a 6 cell pack in my nitro car, to get longer usage out of my car. I didnt know though if this would burn my servo up or not.

Most servos are rated for a 5 cell pack, Iam not sure what the voltage is, but I know that a 6 cell pack puts out more voltage than what was recomended on the box.

I just wanted to know if this would work, and if it does, would it make my servo faster?

You could also have some issues with your Rx.

6 cells = 7.2V @ 1.2V per cell
5 cells = 6.0V

Most of the MiniT packs are around 1100mAh cells.
You can buy 2300mAh AA's.

Go with the 5 cell AA packs and play it safe.
