Tx / Rx problem !
Hi,
as a small project for my nephew's birthday i putting a Kyosho trainer 40 together for him and found a Hitec Focus 4 without reciever and from a friend of mine i got a HFS-04MI+ without crystal so i ordered a pair from UK with No name spec : FM35.060Mhz - UK ch66 marked T/R 27, Something is very wrong couse when hooked them up with a pair of cheap servos they went completly nut's :confused: So far i know is the black lead to the right side on Rx but not sure ! So what have i done ? hooked up wrong , wrong type of X's - bad Tx - Rx ? I would be extremly greatful for a reply in this matter, Regards Kjell. |

1. If TX & RX are say 41 or 72 Mhz, then the 35 Mhz crystals will not be compatible. 2. If both TX & RX are labelled for the 35 Mhz band, then if the receiver crystal has a blue tip, it is dual conversion and will not operate your single conversion 5ch receiver. sub Section "Glitches & Jitter in Receiver, Servo & ESC - causes and cures " under "Radio Systems, Accessories, Alterations and FAQ." at: Alan's Hobby, Model & RC FAQ Web Links may assist.
