My lynx just started to smoke
Ok, so today i was going to go outside and drive my tc3 around for a little bit, i put fresh energizer batts in and turned on the radio, then pluged the battery to my tc3. I hit the gas, car doesnt go. I notice that the throttle channel is switched, so i put it back to normal and hit the gas, still nothing. I look over at my Lynx controlled and its spewing out white smoke, the smell of something electrical burning kind of smoke. I immediatly turned off the controller and took out the batterys. I could now hear something rattling around inside. I find this strange because it worked so well at the track yesterday with no problems. Any suggestions? O ya, this contoller is also about 3 years old too.
Thanks for the help in advance. |
BTW this is the transmitter not the reciever

well i found what happened. i guess there was a short near C4735 F OJ: capapicter or what ever it is and that area of the board is fried. All i did was put in new batteries in my lynx.

Doesn't sound to good....
You could send it in to get a repair Est. But, my guess is it will be to high compared to the cost of the radio. Check the new line of Aggressor radios... http://www.hitecrcd.com/Radios/radiosurfacebody.htm |
what do u think could have made it short?
