HS645MG stripping

Two different HS645MG servos on different cars (Jato and Revo). Both stripped the fine tooth brass gear. I paid $39 for each servo and $22 for a replacement gear set. I thought MG meant some reliability! These were not steering servos either. What gives? Can I get free replacement gears or should I give up on Hitec and go to JR or Futaba. :flaming:

Metal gear does not mean indestructible. If you want that you would have to use the Titanium geared servos we make. ;) If you want to send us the servos with a copy of your sales receipt we can probably replace the gears for you under warranty assuming you are still with in the 2 year warranty period for our products. Typically the only gears that will be covered are the metal geared servos that use the MP or the MK hybrid gears like this servo. :tire:
