Default Metal Gears

I bought a Hitec HS-5475HB Digital Servo and would like to know if i can get metal gears for it.

No. The HD/HB servos have the new heavy duty "Karbonite" gears that are 4 times stronger than the standard nylon and are not available in metal.

Mike...I just purchased a HS-6975HB, there are no metal type gear sets available? Would you say this would be strong enough and reliable for 10th scale nitro onroad and Revo monster truck steering, 2 for steering of course.

and how do you think this servo centers? How does Karbonite compare to Metal?

The 6975 should be fine for the 1/10 scale on road vehicle but I would not use anything other than a metal geared servo in a monster truck. Karbonite gears are 4 times stronger than nylon gears but are still not nearly as strong as metal gears.

The centering should be excellent due to the coreless motor used in the servo and the digital circuitry.
