5925 replacement?

I have a few 5925 digital servos that I use for steering on my 1/10 and 1/8 scale cars......They work great! good torque, great speed and super holding power/centering......what new hitec servo is the replacement? The closest I see is .02 sec slower in speed. The 5925 was .10 @ 4.8v and .08 @ 6.0v can anyone recommend a new Hitec replacement?...........

The replacement servo for that was the HS-5965mg. The slight difference in the specs is nothing to worry about. You wont be able to feel or tell the difference between .08 and .10 speed.

Brendan, Thanks for the reply...but you can tell the difference in .02 sec travel speed......for comparison the JR 9100S is about .06-.07 @ 6.0v and it makes the car you drive feel more connected to your transmitter, I also have a few 965 MG servos and they are rated for .10 @ 6.0v and they are definately slower than the 5925 servos I have....why did they not make a super speed servo for the R/C car crowd, I guess I have to try a different brand servo, keep the Ti gears and give us more speed hi-tec, car users are not worried about weight, use hardened steel gears to save cost over Ti and use brushless motors for superior speed and holding power........

You may notice a difference in resolution but not in .02 sec, of speed. ;)
There are some other servos in the pipeline that should fit the bill with some more increased speeds but they are still a ways down the road.
