Default Receiver throwing the crystal

Hi:

I have several DCX receivers for my Lynx 3D. Some of them are close to three years old. Great equipment. Two of the receivers have begun releasing the crystals (no damage done thanks to my failsafes). I do not use the rubber boot (cover?) to allow for quick crystal swap. I installed the only rubber cover I had on one of the receivers. Anything else I can do to avoid this problem?

Thanks
Jose

When my rubber boots gave out, I put a small piece of duct tape over the crystal. Another guy here shoves a small piece of fuel tubing in there to make it tight. Seems to work pretty well.

some also use a rubber band around the Rx that covers the x'tal hole.
