Defective HS5925MG Servo

I am using a HiTec Digital HS5925MG servo in my 1/5 scale car as the front brake servo which is used on channel 3. Sometimes the servo works will just lock up in one position and not move at all, and other times it will just glitch back and forth very quickly. I have plugged my other servos into the same channel and they all work perfectly, so I know that the problem is with the servo. It is about a month or so old and I have never used it before except for the 3 times I tried to remedy this problem. I bought the servo from Tower Hobbies, but they told me I can't return it because it is defective and I need to contact the manufacturer (HiTec) so that's what i'm doing.

I really need to replace this servo, otherwise I won't be able to drive my car.

Is there some way I can fix the servo without having to send it into HiTec or exchange it for a new one with HiTec?

Thanks

What kind of radio system are you using? What is the size of the Rx pack you are using? ie 4 or 5 cell?

Our service info is here . TTYL.

I am using a Futaba 3PK radio, I even called up Futaba tech support and they walked me through all these steps to determine the problem, also I am using a 5 cell 3000 NiMH receiver pack.
