SRX aggressor not working
 

Hey I walked away from the rc10GT for the last couple of weeks waiting for a new servo to hopefully fix my glitch. It arrived today, a JR Z590m torgue race servo. All happy i removed the second servo that i'd tried for the throttle.I have also changed the mix for the steering, removing the hitec 645m and trying 2 different AE servos.I added about 5 inch of antenna acouple of weeks ago too then shrinked wrapped it back on itself on the antenna tube.(only b/c the stupid cat chew on the extra wire) Anyway i installed the new JR and left the ae 1903mg on the steering thinking i'd be burning nitro in 10 minutes. Not happening its still glitching. What i hadn't mentioned was both servos were doing it but the steering was about 85%(hardly noticeable) better than the throttle. Now i'm PO and totally confused. I start touching things to see if it gets worse or better , well it gets bad when i touch the brake linkage. Confused again I remove the brake linkage off the servo and brake arm as well as removing the doubled up antenna wire so it hangs loose again. well the glitching stops.I put a piece of shrink wrap on the threads for adjusting the brakes to keep the metal on metal parts apart. I then put the linkage threw the arm for the brake lever and it starts glitching again. I lay the brake linkage on the center of the horn-less new metal servo and as soon as i let go the glitching stops. I grab it and it glitches. I must be the glitch.LOL .I put it all back together again with the linkage hooked back up to the servo and it glitches again when i turn on the powerI've checked everything else(batts,antenna, bare wires etc..)The only thing i haven't done is open the receiver box or re-root all the wiring,I've read that some bec systems will limit the power to the high powered servos and using a" Y" wire connector will by-pass the bec. How ever i don't think that this Hitec SRX has bec. Tonite i gave it one more chance. i re-built the 311 servo and installed it for the throttle. Now when i turn on the radio the steering and throttle servos center but then theres nothing. no functions on the truck work.The green light is on for the reciever . I've checked everything but the transmittor and reciever. Not sure whats wrong now. the last time i used the gt evrything worked but the throttle was very glitchy. Dan.

Have you tried a new X'tal?

got a crystal and rx in the mail. Thats the only stuff not checked yet. Hopefully. My gt is getting jealous of the t4.LOL thanks for responding. Dan

Hey Tres, my LHS is not having any luck finding crystals for my radio. its been 5 or 6 weeks. I've got 2 recievers. the one thats glitching in the gt and a new one. But no ch70 (75.590) crystals. Can you or anyone get me some. Thanks. Dan.
