Default Ace hardware rc track?

color me confused. I noticed a few months ago that the ace hardware in Rita Ranch started selling traxxas trucks. Then, I saw them leveling the land right next to ace hardware and on my way home they have have pipe down....So yeah, ace hardware with a track...confused. There was few jumps, a banked turn. I assume this will be for playing around an not racing. No light or drivers stand as of yet. So once its done, I am guessing you can come play on the track if you live in the area.

Exposing my true age here I guess,

About 30 years ago there were quite a few ACE Hardware Stores around the country that sold RC wares. I remember walking through one in Boulder, Colorado and seeing Tamiya and Parma kits, then later that year I walked into one in Tempe and found Tamiya and Marui Kits along with Futaba and Airtronics radios.

I don't recall ever seeing one with a track though.

Either way they are franchises, and the owner determines what they carry, the corporation just provides the marketing and product.

I stopped by there today to check it out and get some info. The track is basic but nice. They have a drivers stand set up. Price is $5 per buggy/truck. I plan to take my nitro stuff out there tomorrow with my boys and get 4 nitros running around the track.

Have ran the nitro trucks/buggy out there twice now. It's a pretty good spot just to get some run time in. Has a couple nice banked turns an some small jumps. Has a nice long back straight leading into a nice banked turn. They have power ran out to the track as well. Plus the store carries a good selection of Traxxas parts as well as Losi and AE.
