Default Is St class dead in AZ?

I live in Glendale and was about to buy my first ST (and first hobby grade RC) for bashing to learn to drive but was going to get into racing eventually. Not seeing any St classes at the local race tracks. Are my only choices SCTs and buggies if i plan to race later? If so, which class is more popular?

No stadium trucks are not dead. Seems like most of the tracks in town are starting to get full classes of them. One Hobbies, Warehouse 3(The two Closest to you) SRS and Glitch RC (Thats me lol) have pretty good turn outs. With states and Cactus just around the corner I dont see ST going away only getting bigger and if there isnt enough to form a class im sure all the tracks will find a class to put you in

Last weeks KBRL race had 4 heats of Stadium Truck. I would say it is far from dead/dying. It is not the most popular class but I do think it is growing

It seems on the West side, yes. East side, No. Unfortunately you are on the west side.
As far as popular classes, buggy and short course are equally popular classes at the tracks.

Oh well. I wasnt planning to start racing for at least a year anyways, maybe by then things will be different. It is good to know that at least there are ST racers out there.

You should try a track when you get yer truck, its alot of fun. Almost like a strip club, but w/o the sparkle dust to get in trouble with the wife.
