I run Durango the cars have endless adjustments and handle pretty well. Its a good car for the money. But you can also get lost with adjustments if your not careful. Just out curiosity what shop that tried to sell you Durango and do they have parts?

That's about what you will find everywhere. I bought 2 of them earlier this year. Great trucks. But if you want to race it, you will find your self spending another 3 or 4 hundred on it. At least that's what I did. It's cheaper and better to get the Factory Kit. If you plan on racing it. That being said. I see a lot of RTR trucks at the tracks

Team Associated= good stuff, most every shop has parts.

yes thats a pretty good deal, and you cant go wrong with the sc10 race spec, they even come with good race tires. there are mostly original parts on my sc10 even after racing for 1.5 years. and any thing that broke, they have in stock at the track.

dont forget your transponder...you will be set.

i figured the factory kit wouldn't be good for a beginner because i would spend more money having it put together and parts than just buying something good learning about maintenance and upgrades and go from there and with some help from local people on the track for setups out here will be nice any particular hobby shops i have only made it to viper hobbies in mesa

You are correct. Does Viper carry Associated now? They did not just a few months ago

Avoid the Traxxas if you are wanting to race. It does not handle the abuse very well. The Durango is a good truck. However the parts support is not there. I would go with the team Associated or the Losi. The T4.1 is a good starter kit in the rtr. Dont know if losi has a rtr in the 22t. Please feel free to ask any questions. Brian

i like more of the truck off road looking vehicles whats the difference between the two i mean physically it looks like the T4.1 would have way better handling than the rc10 models

The sc10 is a great platform. I've run my RTR sc10 brushless kit with rpm arms and ball diff. Also upgrade the servo and you will be good to go. Just starting out that truck will do more than u can as a novice hahahaha.
