Default summer heat

How much does the AZ summer heat effect your motor temps? What ways do you go about compensating for it?

Idk if it affects electric as I'm just getting into it but with nitro you'll want to lean it out, your temps will be higher then in winter but don't worry about it .

Oh it affects the electric guys too!
Compensate like you typically do for temps. Gearing, timing, vents in body, etc etc.

Running 1/10 scale Short Course I noticed a direct correlation between ambient temps and my motor temps. Previously (when it wasn't quite so hot) the hottest I'd reach on my motor after a 10 min main was 165ish. Recently when it was still nearly 100 degrees during the mains I read nearly 195. I hadn't changed gearing/timing or anything.
