Hey guys, new to the racing scene. Looking for info. I've purchased a couple of used rollers and need to get them set up. I'm looking for "stock" racing info. Most likely it will be my two sons doing the racing, dad doing the wrenching... LOL
1, What motors are you guys using for the stock classes (2wd buggy and 2wd SC)?
2, Which tires are working on the HobbyTown track?
Thanks for the info and helping out the FNG...

Hasta,
Jeff

Thumbs up stock motors

our buggy class is limited to 17.5 motors for stock. the short course class runs 13.5 motors. all 13.5 and 17.5 classes are blinky. congratulations to Bill Hoagland on winning the first 17.5 travelling trophy last night. The winner of 17.5 buggy every wed. gets to take the trophy home write their name on it and return a week later to defend their title.

I run reedy sonic 2 with the LRP flow and gridiron tires all the way around on my sc and on my buggy double dees in back with rips in the front with same motor as my sc. I have anything you ccan think of for sale so if you need anything I'm usually at the track with my daughter Tamara

Default Excellent info guys!

Thanks for the specs. One other question. What does "blinky" mean?

BOOST? We get forced induction on RC cars now? Hell yeah! LOL. The brushless world is a new beast to me (first RC was the original RC10, then the first RC10T, still have the T) and now coming from the comp crawling world where brushed motors still have a control edge over brushless at low speed. Time to do some hardcore reading on all the new electronics out there... Thanks for the info guys. See you in November when I get back from Korea!
