The key is to go slow where the photographer is. That's why my lap time sucks.

Your buggy looked good, but the brakes were killing you on the high speed sections. I followed some of the guidelines posted in the Agama thread and the brakes only started to fade a bit in the main and I couldn't get away with the WOT on that long back stretch that I was doing in the qualifiers.

I feel like the piston systems are far better than the open pad/cam systems that are on the losi and the associated cars. I have a very low cost idea that could make both brake systems stellar.

You need a fast lens. I have a decent, fast 50mm prime lens that will allow for night shots without flash. I don't know how that would play out trying to get zoomed in to small objects such as RC Cars. Glass that can go to 400mm and down to 2.0 will cost an arm a leg and all my RC Car money.

Drop the lens down to like 1.6 or 1.8 and set the shutter speed slow enough not to overexpose the shot. Then take some very fast sweeping shots in succession (I use the multiple shots with one button click)

Oh yea I almost forgot thanks to Roy (ROOKIE) for all the great pit help. See you all next time hopefully for the Byrons Warm-Up.
No problem guys, glad I could help out.
I have a blast at the tracks racing or just hanging out and helping out. I hope to be back to racing soon.

Yeah Vareck, here are the results. I ran my first qualifier in Intermediate Buggy. In 2 heats, I got my butt handed to me. Bumped DOWN to the Novice class and won the race (with my truggy, not my buggy). Not such a good showing....LOL

He claims to be laying pipe at the pit. Its an interesting claim because I heard the new layout already had a blue groove showing.
