Plus there was some guy standing right next to him yelling all kinds of things that ruin the video. Don't know who that might have been. "cough cough"

Track was fun. Wind made the mains a little interesting. Now all we need is a ramp onto the drivers stand before the start of KBRL and the world will be perfect. LOL. No really though. Hope to see progress on that one soon.

Default Club race results

Hi all,

Thank you for coming out and bearing the heat with us. It was hot but when the Sun went down, it was bearable. The wind picked up later in the night making it difficult to keep moisture in the track and props to the track crew in all the watering they had to do. It was the biggest turn out for 1/8 scale FF has had and again thank you for coming out and showing your support. Props have to go out to Jeff Parsons and crew, CJ Jensen, Ernie and a couple others (I am not good with names) but nonetheless, are key components in running these tracks. The changes in the track made for close racing all around. I had a chance to run the track between the qual and mains. It is a drivers track now as you had to figure out the best lines through the off camber rollers, chicane and hitting your marks to get fast laps. It was good to see John Young, Nick Groves, Dan Thompson and David Joesten from the east valley here racing on the west side. It was the first time, I have seen them drive and all I can say is that we have a lot of driver talent out there. With the KBRL Nitro and Electric Series right around the corner, there will be tough competition in all classes. I for one can't wait to start racing again (I better start practicing).

OH HAPPY BIRTHDAY SABRINA KILDAY!

Again thank you,
Tom

Additional Results.

The Novice class is getting better everytime I see these guys drive. Almost time to move up.

PS, I sure do miss Greg next to me on the drivers stand. You make me smile everytime.

NOTE: When we start seeing more 2 full heats of a class with exception of Nitro Novice, I will split the open class to Experts and Intermediate like we use to have. Again, it all depends on your support for these classes.

I had a lot of fun last night, My first impressions of the track were not to great. It got better as the night went on and i had a blast. As i have found out no track is perfect, there is something my dad OR I will not like about a track and you have got to learn to deal with it. I hope we can keep the turn out like we had last night going.

It was very interesting driving in those windy conditions. I for one have not had the experience to drive in many different weather conditions and last night taught me a lot. Also i now know how fast i can change a blown clutch out before a race

Yeah that does help. That and doing a couple hundred times My record is 3 minutes. Had to change one out before one of my qualifiers with three minutes to go in the race before mine. It's crazy what you can do when you have to
