I'm surprised this thread is so quiet. Maybe ppl are wrenching and prepping in all their spare time off work.. I was at the track yesterday and it looks awesome! It's technical, but flowing. Typical awesome Joey track. There's some
banks which will be interesting to see how he sets up the pipe on them. Has a whoops section that idk if can be timed or has to be rolled through. A nice step-up, there's a cool flowing S section going through the center of the track. If he didn't add any jumps then there is a cool curving straight away coming down the left side. Doubles everywhere. And a technical section that is a small step on step off to a double type of deal. Lol I should have just taken a picture to post! Anyways the track looks awesome. The 10th and 5th scale tracks look really good. There was already 8 RVs setup. So it should be an amazing race as always!!

Default t-minus 2 days….

looking great on entries! Thanks so much for getting them to me early! If anyone is tooling around the track today, keep spreading the word that everyone should try to sign up with Joey, Aaron, or I before Wednesday morning. I'll be at the track tomorrow but let's try to not wait that long. Get them over to me today/tonight by email or text. [email protected], 6024183846

Weather looks perfect and the entrants in this 15th annual Nitro Challenge look to be the most stacked yet!

Will practice on Wednesday be timed in order to seed people with similar lap times for qualifying? I think the general consensus is to have each heat consist of people with similar skill levels, rather than in years past where the fast guys were mixed in with the less experienced racers.

If not, perhaps a re-sort after the first round of qualifying?

I have $50 for anyone who will cover my turn marshaling duties on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I'm only racing my buggy.

I fell down some stairs and twisted my ankle. Lucky me!

Please pm me if you're interested.

Thanks

Matt, Joey and I have been talking about this. Difficult if impossible to time practice due to time constraints, with so many entries. but…. We do have other options we're looking at. Will know for sure tomorrow.

Hope the ankle is on the mend..
