I am bringing both the Truggy and the Buggy. Sabrina will be running a buggy. Hope we get a good turnout, since the track has been changed for those who thought it was too hard. See you all there.

This Saturday big track racing. Can't wait to see what Jeff has in stored for us. it should be a hoot, yes I said hoot. This is going to the hottest week yet and hope we get some rain Saturday morning to help cool things down.

Gates 5:00 PM, Race 7:00 PM.

Bring your truggies, buggies and 1/8 Electrics.

Default Losi 8ight B Roller

I'm looking for a used Losi 8ight B 1.0 or 2.0 roller for an electric conversion. Or possibly an electric 8ight depending on the setup.

I like to buy local if possible, so I figured I would try the local threads first. Shoot me a PM if your old Losi is gathering dust and needs a good home

Default 1/8 electric

Looking to go 1/8 electric. Wondering what's working well for you guys down there. Car, Motor, ESC, batteries, tires, just the general stuff. I ran my 1/8 nitro there a few times and loved the track just tired of driving two hrs and spending more time wrenching than driving. Thanks

I ran on the first and only electric 1/8th scale race on the big track. We were trying for a 13 minute main and my buggy died at 12min 30 sec mark. I was running a pair of 2S 40C 5000 mAh Lipos in series with a CC 2200 and MMM ESC.

They pretty much decided that electric mains would be set at 10 minutes after this. The track is huge and I'm sure that contributes to reduced run time. I can run a lot longer on the 1/10th scale track with the same setup.

There were still two other buggies on the track, but since they both pulled off the track briefly to do minor repairs, its hard to say if they would have also not ran the full 13 minutes.

Tom, if I run in the Novice class with a buggy, can I run the open class for Truggy? Is there any rule against that? I dont want to get in the way, but I would like to run my truggy on that track.

Thanks
