Never been to Hemet myself Kenny

But dirt seems ta be pretty hard packed.. With moister and packing should hold up pretty well..

Dosent appear to be very loamy, Like I assume Hemet is

News update:

Our 1/8th scale dirt track is 90% complete. The tracks overall dimensions are 135 X 240 w/ lanes no smaller then 15' the main rhythm section starts at 17' then tapers out to 24' w/ about 5 different ways you can rhythm in and out of. the track is set up for motocross style starts w/ a 40' starting gate/ lane and tapers down to a 15' lane after 120'. there is a total of over 14' in elevation change incorporated into our first layout (this is no flat track). the best way to describe it version 2 of the very last layout I did at PAPAGO, Everyone that has raced that track including (Ryan Maifield) has told me that was the funnest layout in AZ. thanks again. check back soon

I drive past there everyday to and from work. I believe they've built the 1/8th scale track and from what I can see it looks real nice. Hard to get a good look driving by at 70 mph -- damn you photo radar...

When can we expect to see pictures and videos? What are you planning to charge for practice, and what will your hours be?

I probably won't be there the weekend of the Youth Fest -- don't like the possibility of huge crowds. But I'll be there for sure as often as I can afterwards.
