THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! LOL

I second the question. Does this change the schedule for Saturday's races?

And for the electric 1/8th head count, I'm going to be there with my Vorza. Please don't let my RTR scare you away....this will be my first race. LOL

I just stopped by to look at the track on my way into town, that thing is a beast! Reminds me of my motocross days. We'll see how much stuff I can break on the 1st lap!

Still no confirmation on the new hours affecting tonight or not. What time is everyone planning to be there?

Well, now it just feels like I am spamming...anyway.

I have tried to make posts in here for a week, and they always come back saying waiting for moderator to approve. Ok, but they never get approved and posted, then out of chance posting that "why can't I post" post it actually comes up. Then to top it off I edit that post for my real post and it vanishes. WOW.

Anyway, I will try again.

Would like more info on the 10th scale Death Race tonight. Will all styles of cars be racing against each other? If you flip over on the first lap are you done for the night? Will the track be open after the event for practice if it runs fast?

Sure do wish my other posts went trough because now I don't remember everything I said and don't feel like trying to re-post.

Those are practice days. You can show up at 6:30 if you want. Racing won't start till after 7:00 anyways. Just don't want to hold up the race program.

Default 1/8truggy turnout?

I'm looking to race today, for the first time in about 6mo
Is there a decent truggy turnout on race days since TNP is practice-only today?

I visited the track last night and ran a few laps on the 1/8, pretty cool layout, major elevation changes.

There was no real practice on the big track, though, and after watching the small track for a bit, I wasn't comfortable putting the truggy on it with all the kids. There was one 1/8 buggy, one truggy, and one 1/10 nitro that ran every now and then, but it was clear many young kids marshalling didn't know how to flip them without burning themselves, so I didn't want to see anyone get hurt on my account.

The small track was chock full of beginners and some experienced SC drivers. Tons of kids marshalling with lots of enthusiasm! It was a competiton to see who could marshall the most cars, pretty funny, very good to see. I think it would be good to get that kind of safety info to the cars coming in with kids. Maybe have one entry gate where you can say something to the carloads as they arrive, like at the state fair or Speedworld drags. I'm sure there are more options, like running gas only on the big track, or making announcements, etc. Also mark the owner/manager/director table to make it more obvious who's in charge and where to find you. My 2 cents. Family atmosphere for sure, no swearing or arguments heard the whole time I was there at least. Good job on a nice place to play.

I wanted to thank everyone who came to run 1/8th scale electric. I was awesome to finally do my first race, and get my feet wet on such a huge track. Looks like 13 minutes was cutting it too close on battery time. Announcer said we'll do 10 minute mains next time.

Maybe we can get them to do 10 minute TQ as well so we get some more run time. Still be less than the nitros at the end of the night. Just thinking outloud.

Thanks to FearFarm and Quicks RC for a great night and an awesome raffle of prizes, even though my name wasn't drawn....
