kinda reminiscent of years ago. I miss that place but on the plus side the Fear Farm has stepped it up and welcomed Joey (and his traveling dirt slinging circus) a great new home for us nitro heads to enjoy.

Thanks Fear Farm for taking a chance. Dispite the trivial drama throughout the year this next week is what we all aim for. Thanks again FF owners!

Will we see a KB gt return?

Huge thank you to the Fear Farm owners! Those guys have pumped some blood, sweat, tears, and $$ into that place in the last few weeks. Their committment to Joey, the Nitro Challenge, and local racers is amazing. I'm so excited for the coming year!!
As for Tent City you should ask Vareck but anywhere else ask Kenny

Was out there today. Tracks look great. Lots of work happened out there in the last couple of weeks. Thanks to Fear Farm for keeping nitro going strong. The effort is appreciated. Can't wait to see everyone this week

Default Cable help...

Hey guys,

For Nitro Challenge we're running a 2nd printer at tech. We need cables to run from the Announcer area to tech which is about 70-80 feet. From what I've researched, I need one USB cable that has a booster on it. I'll also need a long USB A-B cable, that will actually attach to the printer. I know several people have offered to help with things this week and this is one area we could use some help in. If anyone with this expertise knows where to buy these cables locally, please let me know. Otherwise I'll need to order from Tiger Direct tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for any help!

Most printers have wifi in them now, might be a cheaper option to set that up.

Kenny. James has a computer guy that I believe can custom make a cable like that. The wifi is a possibility but with no router on premises I don't see how.

That would require a wireless router and a network adapter right?

Thanks

Joe, I'll ask James.

I just threw out a router but it would have worked perfect for this situation. Maybe someone has one laying around Having a router would open up all sorts of possibilities. Devices don't need to be connected to any network, everything could be on the 192.*.*.* w/ no cables needed.

I'm wondering if we can figure out how to use an I phone or android to handle this. They both have wireless printing options right? Does the track have an ISP?
