I've been running them for 3 years with no issues at all. These last 2 I got a few months ago have been a nightmare from day 1. Arrrggghh

We just practice. One day we will have sanctioned races. As soon as we find out more about the timing systems available.

Only 1/5th scale or can 1/8th run as well?

What engines are they? Don't expect to get a lot of life out of modded engines, as a opposed to stock.

Nova P5, Werks B5. Ran 2-3 tanks through both of them yesterday with hotter plugs to compensate for the humidity and some slight changes to the tunes and idles. They both seem to be running strong and working good now, but we all know that every engine is perfect in the street in front of our house and then becomes a complete biatch at the track. We shall see what tomorrow night brings and I have time to switch to back ups for Saturday if I need to.
Both engines right about the 2 gallon mark and no signs of anything funky inside them and bearings are all good so I'm blaming it on Argentina and Big Nasty DJ flame master

I don't see a problem with you running your 1/8th with our 1/5th, you are going to be a lot faster but the 1/5th tend to be a little hard on things that they hit.
