Yes they will supply you with 1 if you do not have your own. Now I'm not certain but I think you have to grab 1 before your race and return immediately after the race. You can't hold on to them for the entire night. A little bit of back and forth but that's a small price to pay for the use of a house transponder.

IMO there is less room for error with Nitro. Electric cars can come off the small table sideways before the triple, come to a complete stop, stab the throttle and still clear the triple. The horse has been beaten to death already. The only argument that makes any sense is that they are very different cars.
