dan1977... do yourself a favor and stop thinking. just race. it IS the biggest track. if you don't believe me, then go get a tape measure and check it out yourself. mid week racing is always a mixed bag, sometimes we get HUGE numbers, and sometimes not. i take it you race 10th scale? there are a LOT of tracks doing that, and to be honest, you'd have a full time job trying to race ALL the 10th scale that goes on in the valley during a given week. it's also right before the 1st of the month, some guys take this week off to make sure they have bills covered.

your next race should be free? cheezy is right...that shit IS funny.

you'll probably have better luck on a saturday race if you want a full heat of novice. that's gonna be the same at ANY track. we are lucky to be able to come race at one of the nicest facilities in the world, here. coming online to talk shit and cry about a free race next week makes you sound like a novice. i've been there, and it DOES SUCK to be the only guy or two guys in your class.

At least at fear farm, they let you run. i've been one of two guys to show up with 8th scale at another track here in town (which shall not be named) and was told to come back some other time. after i'd paid. i got a raincheck, but they didn't even want me practicing. i've yet to see anybody not get to race at fear farm.

if this happens again, then ask kenny to put you with the non novice guys. you'll have a full heat of guys who don't wreck all the time, and who can drive around you instead of through you. it will make you faster, and the next time you're in a novice race, you'll be faster than the other guys. then you'll eventually stop racing novice.

The End.
Did you type that all in one breathe?

Dan: I wish I could control the entries but it's out of my hands. Most of the time we have a good group of Novice, just not last night. How long have you been at this racing stuff? Don't get discouraged, it's a great hobby that has enriched my life for 25 years!!

Dan

Man it happens sometimes. I can't even count how many times I have not had other buggies to race with when I go out of Thursdays. You just have to make the best of it man. This shit is too damn FUN to think about silly things like that. Never once have I been told I could not race at Fear Farm with my B4.1 or Slayer Pro. I think the 1/10 track is so fun I don't really personally care who I race with as long as I get on the track. Lol

Frustrating night.

I had a steering servo fail on me in my buggy at nitro challenge (JR). Since I got my truggy, the steering servo (KO) was getting weaker and weaker so I replaced it with a brand new one (Savox) tonight before the races. During the qualifiers, my throttle servo failed in my buggy (JR), then the brand new servo in my truggy failed, then my girlfriends steering servo failed (Losi). wtf???

5 servos in one month.

I use the MuchMore 6.5V 7A regulator, fits in the rx box, ran it all last year with no problems, still running the same one in truggy, one for buggy too. Lipo runtime with nimh voltage, same set of savox 1268's in truck for 8months.

Dan look at it this way, with only two of you, you are guaranteed a 1st or 2nd place in your race
