Most any mini-pin style tread works out there. I have found gridirons work best on the 1/10 track. On the 1/8 track, I have used Gridirons and pro-line hole shots. Soft or super soft compound both work. Its a bit loose on the 1/8 scale track so the harder compounds tend to skate around.

Deployed over there and I'm racing every week...... If you cold PM me when you are getting close to coming home I'd love to bring you brand new front and rears as a 'thank you' for serving our fine country. Please let me know what rig you run and any wheel preference and I'll check with the fastest guys in that class and make sure you have fresh moccasins for your sled. I'll back those up with the beverage's of your choice as well.

Very well said Lance. I'm sure if Doug introduces himself, we would all like to buy you a drink. I know for sure I would like to race with you. Thanks for serving our country and protecting our freedom to race toy cars in peace.

Very nice gesture Lance. Let me know what he chooses and I will offer them to you at dealer cost.

Default Fifth Scale Track Fun Day -- November 19th

Alright folks, the 1:5th scale track is complete and ready to run.

Alright folks, we now have a very nice Baja track in Phoenix at the Fear Farm Raceway. I would like to thank Bill, Kevin, Jesse, Barry, Lance, Shane, Phil, J.R., Jamie, Clay, Dale, Mike and Ed.

The first Track Day will be November 19th, starting at 9:00 am. This will be just a day of fun racing without a timing system. The HPI Nationals are the weekend before, so most of us will be worn out from racing there for 4 days.

Baja Modifiers will have his full trailer of parts support out there, so you can see all the new factory and aftermarket parts in one air conditioned trailer. He will be driving home form the Nationals, and I have asked him to stop by and show Phoenix what he has for us.

The cost will be $10 to practice all day.

I am also working on a Friday night get-together for the Baja guys in town. Keep tuned to this space for the details.
