i think it's like 29c per fastener. the one across from srs has a hardware section as big as mcdonalds. about 7 aisles. on addition, if you take the time to go through it, there are all kinds of goodies. you know the little dust covers for a nitro engine that you get when you buy a new one? the ones you always lose? they have those. springs. body pins. lots and lots of stuff. plan to spend an hour going through that section of paul's ace hardware.
also, ace has a lot of stuff in the store that you can't find anymore. like, 'wow, i didn't think they make that anymore?' made in AMERICA stuff. it's a great alternative to wal mart (which sells almost NOTHING that is made in america) and the people there actually know what the hell they are selling. i can't say enough about ace hardware.
when you pay 3$ for a pack of 10 screws from a main, + postage (unless you're already throwing 100 bucks at them) it's actually cheaper to get them at ace. I can't vouch for every ace hardware in the valley, but the one near PV mall is pretty good, and i'll drive to scottsdale to go to paul's ace hardware, a family business that opens early and stays open late, in a heartbeat.

Thanks forthwith info, Nasty and Jazz, I don't normally need 1 or 2 screws, but, you how it goes sometime, I have bought quite a few from Tonys screws, you can get a pack of 10 or 20 for about 2 bucks or so, When I do buy them, I will get like 20 bucks worth or so.
