I haven't said anything about this yet, but now i'm gonna...

before all you arm-chair track designers weigh in on what this layout needs, have you thought about driving the current layout? There has been one damn race sofar, and all these geniuses have all this input... Some of them were there to help with the rebuild....some were not. Before we think about adding gimmicks to the track, let's do a couple of things:

1) let's be glad we have this layout and this facility. The rest of the country doesn't. Believe me, they wish they did.

2) let the track people make their tweaks for a bit...there are little things that will make any layout flow better that get done after you run it a few times.

these guys busted their asses on this, and here we are talking about what this needs when we haven't even figured out what it's got yet.

Astro turf was used on the first layout and it looked good on the area between the lanes. Once everything is dialed, THEN add some goofy stuff. I'd like a loop.

He's got 2 podium trophies coming from the SRS and ET summer series. He'll be all warm and fuzzy after that.

That kind of stuff is what gives a track its character and seperates it from every other track. A paver section, wall ride, concrete corner, pvc pipe whoop section, I'm all for it
I am all for a wall ride section!!

The sandbox was awesome! And I've only ran on 2 tracks with a concrete slab section (The Farm II and Big Time) and they both added to the personality of the track.

When done right that type of stuff is great for 1/8 scale tracks.
