Is there going to be any layout change for the KBRL finals? Also when is fear farm open for practice?

Right now, if you go on a weekday you can swing by their office (looks like the "temporary" trailer south of the typical RC entrance), and pay them at the office for practice - just no water for the track. I was out there for 3-4 hours today and the 1/10 track was in great shape. Otherwise, they're open Saturdays before racing with water and I believe Sundays with water also.

fwiw...

How much they charge during the week? I assume since you dont get power or water it would be a lot cheaper?

Went out there yesterday, prob round 5ish,tracks are in really great shape, kinda nice being able to track your truck.... ran a pack on the 10th and 8th tracks till I broke on the 8th trying to link the DD in frnt of pit row. Finally got it, then 2nd attempt right frt whell perfectly cased on pipe on 2nd double and KA-SANP.... went the R arm, shock cap, turn buckle.

So does anyone know if they (FF) will be going back to night time practice/racing.......hold your breath maybe a summer 10th/8th race series.

i started racing there last summer and had a blast just wished they learned how to harness the community and keep the i know allot of us that live with in 5,10,15 min away but yet we drive 30+ to get our fix. Sending positive vibes night time driving.

I heard stories that once the KBRL series are over Kenny will be stepping up to implement a consistent race schedule at Fear Farm. Regular races on all 3 tracks on a weekly basis is whats going around. Not sure on the race days, but there are allot of us who love to race wherever Kenny is on the Mic. I would expect FF to really take off and be as consistent and well kept as SRS when it comes to racing. Not badmouthing any of the other tracks but those of you who go to SRS know that the track is always in impeccable shape and they race every Wednesday and Saturday religiously.

I guess only time will tell huh James Hopefully that rumor is legit and they start getting the game together over there. I live 5 mins from FF and would love to be able to get out there racing on a regular basis.

To all who've asked about what's going on with the track. I've been over there asking lots of questions on a weekly basis. Here's what I understand from random people who are actually working for or volunteering for FF.

Weekly practice-
Stop by the office and see Bobby or Troy. They're charging $10. They don't water or run power unless there's enough paying guests. I personally think it should be $5 if there's no water or power, but then I bet enough ppl would show up to warrant watering, so they'd be undercutting themselves, so idk. I just bring my tire bag.

Night time practice/racing-
Yes, as soon as it gets hot. ...it's hot now, probably right after the KBRL.

New 1/8 layout-
I've heard more yes, than no.

...hope this helps.

at 10 bucks id just wait until the weekend when they lay out water and have power. If its an off day they should charge 5 bucks since the track will be dry and we would have to use our vehicle power to charge anything.

When it gets hot...its hot now. Isnt 90 hot enough for night racing lol

We all love Kenny on the mic, but he wants to race!!!! We may have to give up the golden voice in order to compete against him on the track.
