Had a good turnout this weekend. Not quite enough friday night to race but we still had a good time. Saturday night which is open track we have been roasting hot dogs and marshmellows in the fire pit. good times. The table top that had a blind spot is now fixed. Lap times should drop a little. We have been getting a lot of people coming out to check out the short course trucks to see which one suits them best. should be 6-7 new trucks by xmas. We will have racing friday night and open track saturday. Everyone have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Mike

I think that's the night I was out there... Didn't have my 18T ready to bring then. Having more problems with it, broke the motor shaft and servo last week =(.

Juan's been helping me pick out which motor I'm gonna get, hopefully I'll have it ready by next week when I'm back in AZ.

So the track is open at 12 on Saturday and Sunday? Might be able to ride my bike there if my dad can't take me. Will I need to bring five bucks to drive?

Hi Fellas... I'm looking into getting a 4x4 slash (platinum edition) in a week or two. Wondering if there will be a class at Paddock's for me to race in. This is my first venture into racing trucks. I've got a few airplanes and a mini-t that I've hopped up but I'm looking to get into racing and the SC trucks just look like a blast.

So I'm just wondering if there will be a place to race 4x4 SC trucks and what kind of limitations on batteries might apply. I'd be looking to keep the Platinum edition Slash 4x4 stock, except that I'd like to run Lipos (2s1p 5000 mAh+ is what I was thinking) in it as I love their performance in my mini t and my airplanes.

Sorry that this is kind of rambling, I'd just like to get an idea of any requirements/suggestions that you would have of me if I just showed up someday during the listed open times.

Thanks

Thanks

been having a great time playing with the short course trucks, these things are so much fun. There has been a good turnout for being the holiday season. We will be open this saturday 12-8pm and sunday 12-6pm. Please no nitro buggies or truggies until after the 10th. I am really looking forward to the KBRL race the 9th. Sould be a real good time. Have a happy and safe New Year and I will see you all this weekend. Mike

MPaddock 12-29-2009 08:21 PM

We will have 2 classes for the 4wheel short course 1 stock which will be 13.5 brushless, stock brushed motors, 2cell lipos (hard case) and 6 or 7 cell nimh. 2. pro4 will be 10.5 or above and 2cell lipo (hard case) Novice 4 wheel will run with the 2 wheel novice unless there are enought to have seperate classes. ALL SHORT COURSE WILL ONLY RUN A SHORT COURSE TIRE AND WHEEL No buggie tires will be allowed. I hope this will answer any questions if not give me a call. Mike
