I know that this has been probably asked many many times but I couldn't find it searching. I will be in AZ next week and thinking about bringing my B4. What tires is everyone using for 2wd (Front and rear)? I assume on Wednesdays the track is run wet. From the website it looks like racing starts at 7pm. Is it open practice from 12pm until races begin?? My last question is what classes are available. Stock (17.5 or 13.5)?? Thanks in advance.

2wd there is normally a SRS class lipo/10.5 sometimes they run mod cars with also.

Yea, there really isn't a buggy Stock class (17.5 or 13.5) right now. (unless you want to run novice) I would'nt worry about it. Jjust come out and Throw down whatever you have. I have a 10.5 you can borrow if you would like.

DB: yeah truck would be a good place to start, fairly eazy to drive & maintain.

If it is your first electric 1/10 vehicle, yes. I would start with a 13.5 motor and build up your driving skills then pick up a 10.5T. 10.5 SRS Truck is the most popular class currently @ srs. You are able to run a 13.5 motor in this class.

Yes, I would say that 2WD Truck (10.5) is argueably the most popular / consistant class. 4WD & 2WD Buggy (10.5) have their nights too. Heck, they even had 2 heats of novice last week. I have not seen that in years. 10.5 truck consistantly has a full heat and often 2 heats especially on Saturdays. Plus we run 10 Min. Mains. I have to say that overall attendance has been up significantly since the new ownership. On wednesdays we usually have 6-7 Heats and 8-10 on Saturdays. With full classes. This is up from 2-3 / 4-5 respectivley before and the clasess often had 2-3 people in them back then. Keoni has really turned the place around. Come on out.

Note: if running 10.5 truck you will have to deal with Humpty. He is hands down the most awsome driver out there. So when you see the orange cone, er, um... truck coming up behind you you better the part the red sea.

Thanks Guys, I currently run int. truggy at the pit so I have SOME rc driving skills. I'm looking for some more track time and want to run wednesdays occasionally.

I really like all the good things and fun I am hearing about SRS. The last time I was at SRS it looked like the 2wd truck class was the strongest and you all have confirmed that. I wasn't sure about the motor and am trying to read as much as I can about all this electric stuff; my head is about to explode, so your input is greatly appreciated.

If I go with a 10.5, can I "tune it down" so I won't have to by two motors?

you can limit motors in the speed control, but it would still be looked at as a 10.5. You cant tune down a 10.5 and run it with 13.5
