I talked to Adam last night. The cactus layout starts to go in tomorrow. So it should be well packed and ready for cactus next next week.

There is ONE kid who works there who races offroad who I will say is alright, I believe his name is Alex, but the rest of them are complete idiots--when it comes to r/c related stuff anyway. Totally clueless and unwilling to help or help themselves.

Racing around a few dots in a parking lot SUCKS. If someone built a serious on road track near HTG, they would lose the majority of their "loyal customers".

Flat out, HTG SUCKS. You can cheer them on all you want, like i said, I dont have a dog in this fight, just stating my experience.

Also, I didn't even think twice about skipping over HTG when the new on road track came in at SRS and I bought an onroad vehicle as was planning on driving 60 miles to SRS vs the 25 to HTG, thats how much better SRS and their track is.

Carry on.
^^lol this guy....

HTG is a classic, parking lot racing is not for everyone but to bash it is just stupid "especially if you are on your way out"

To say SRS track is better, that is a false statement. And yes I HAVE been out there and ran on the track. The potential to make the track work is high, they just need to figure out the traction. Todd was told they would never run and compete with HTG and well that is what it is.. and i myself are one of the people that would travel to SRS to race on road, but most likely will not make a race day until they switch from sat.

That's what the schedule was saying also.
Going to be fun. Just a week from Tuesday and I'll be there.

The rcsignup site shows the entries as being full again at the 450 entry cap,

While the actual entry count come Cactus could be less than, it's still impressive to me.
Looks to be a fair amount of international entries as well. Good times ahead.

Thanks to all involved in making the Cactus happen so the rest of us can come and enjoy it.

Cactus layout looks pretty good,
Guys did an outstanding job getting it done. Looks racy enough and should be good for some close racing, at least that's my first take. Could be totally different once there.

Just another 29-32 hours left til it's time to hit the road to make my way down.

Massive amounts of traction. I spent the day trying to not traction roll. Just need to soften up my lines and back off a little in spots.
