Just poking fun...
"...pushing yourself harder and harder to catch the person in front is why I race."

Would that be the same outcome if you raced Mod against Revkin, except not as close?

It's kind of funny, we all want to go faster but we want to go faster the hard (and sometimes expensive) way by racing "stock" motors vs "modified" motors and pushing batteries to their limit and sometimes beyond.

17.5s are quick. but yeah, since we cant just put a faster motor in, we squese power out of whatever we can. When the 13.5 class existed, I never felt the need to get max power.

lol.. Don't charge at high amps.. It will blow up! LOL

I charge and discharge at 25 amps. Good batteries and cheap batteries. Not an issue or a puffy pack. batteries last me awhile with constant charge an discharge. But whatever..

10 amps sucks.. 5 amps is even worse.

And when a big racer here, can run a main, pass his car on to his buddy who just broke in warm up. The same car that he just ran a 5 min heat, and his buddy can win in the same car and battery without a charge in the next heat Says something to me.

Its all personal preference guys. No sense taking jabs at each other. Race what class YOU want to race in.

We're not taking jabs at each other, we're just talking, like we would at the track (but we're not there).

Is the Schuurspeed motor worth it for stock buggy racing over the Reedy motor? Has anyone tried the ECOpower SlingShot motor?
